Sophie Turner embraced a popular footwear trend, the minimalist mule heel, with a new shoe style from Black Suede Studio for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City on Wednesday.

The actress and Louis Vuitton ambassador, who is promoting the Prime Video series “Steal,” donned the freshly launched Shania 100 Mule crafted from satin crepe. The silhouette features an almond peep-toe and a 100 mm pin stiletto heel. The upper gradually tapers away toward the back of the foot, leaving the heel exposed in an easy-on mule style. Priced at $345 from Black Suede Studio, the Shania 100 Mule is also available in a satin cheetah print option. The Montreal-based brand, founded in 2019 and worn by a slew of celebrities, has significantly expanded its global customer base through online business since launching but also opened its first stand-alone physical space, a showroom in Shanghai, in 2025.
Turner paired her sleek black mules with a sparkling metallic skirt and top set from Self-Portrait.

The minimalist mule trend had a moment in 2025 and it seems to be sticking around for 2026. The style worn by Turner wouldn’t be the only less-is-more mule option created by the brand; Selena Gomez wore the brand’s Brea style in black, featuring a simple hourglass-shaped strap across the toes and a pointed sole, in September. Additional celebrities who have embraced this footwear trend include Emily Ratajkowski, who’s worn the Lidia style from Paris Texas, and Addison Rae, who’s worn custom metallic gold heels from Nou.

Sophie Turner is seen arriving at “CBS Mornings” on Jan. 7.

The same day as her spin in the Black Suede Studio shoes, Turner had a different versatile black high heel on foot, a classic pointed-toe pump, when she headed to “CBS Mornings.” Her upcoming show “Steal,” also starring Archie Madekwe, is set for release on Jan. 21.
