Slingbacks Trend at the 2026 Grammys: Teyana Taylor, Kristy Scott

Slingbacks have been a shoe closet staple since their inception and remain a red carpet favorite among celebrities. The shoes were prominent on the red carpet at the 68th Grammy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, with stars like Chrissy Teigen, Miley Cyrus, Kristy Scott and more endorsing the style.

Teigen paired a Caroline’s Couture high-low, strapless gown in pink with a pair of Paris Texas Lidia slingback heels. She opted for the chocolate brown patent leather style with a 105mm needle-thin pin heel. The shoes feature an elongated pointed-toe design and sharp lines, adding modernity to the traditional footwear silhouette.

Internet star Kristy Scott wore a full-on custom ensemble, down to her shoes, styled by Kris Fe. She wore a rich chocolate brown gown, custom made by Nicole + Felicia Couture. She paired the dress with custom Flor de Maria Jaimie slingback heels. The shoes were created and handmade in a brown satin material to match perfectly with the dress for the occasion.

The 100mm stiletto-heeled pumps feature an elegant silhouette with a pointed toe and a refined slingback design that showcases her ankles while providing a secure fit. The Jaimie shoes are available in smooth and patent leather on the Flor de Maria website and retail for $449.

While Teyana Taylor opted for open-toed platform sandals for the ceremony to match her Tom Ford custom dress, she swapped into her go-to slingbacks for the after parties and celebrations. She paired a Saint Laurent spring 2026 dress with the Saint Laurent Amalia slingback pumps in a navy blue patent leather.

The slingbacks featured a stiletto heel in metal that measured 4.3 inches. The heels are decorated with a contrasting insole trim in an orange-yellow and an elongated, pointed toe that’s dramatically pinched at the tip.
