Shakira, who celebrated her birthday on the same day as Sunday’s 2025 Grammy Awards, wore a gorgeous orange and black gown from Etro for the ceremony in Los Angeles when she won the award for Best Pop Latin Album. The dress had a shimmery orange bodysuit with black floral patterns that transitioned into a sheer black lace skirt. The skirt featured matching flower patterns, a high slit and a glittery long train that flowed to the ground.
Styled by Nicolas Bru, Shakira accessorized her look with black platform heels, dangling statement earrings and jewelry from Tiffany & Co.. She wore her long auburn hair down, showing off her signature waves.
Etro also designed the dress that the Grammy-winning singer wore to perform at the ceremony. In addition to performing, Shakira won Best Latin Pop Album for “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.” She thanked her sons Milan and Sasha Piqué Mebarak, who wore identical jacquard silver blazers and embraced her before she accepted the honor onstage, which was presented by Jennifer Lopez.
Helmed by designer Marco De Vincenzo, Etro is known for its ’70s spirit, tapestry-like textiles and sense of romance. Etro’s pre-fall 2025 collection showcased what De Vincenzo dubbed “maximalist minimalism,” melding urban pragmatism with boho nature.
The youthful collection showcased “billowing long dresses in georgette and his own reinterpretation of the boho garment, crafted in jersey for extra ease and practicality,” according to a review from WWD’s Sandra Salibian.
Salibian previously covered the brand’s pre-fall 2024 collection, which featured “a series of lightweight ruffled frocks and crepe skirts juxtaposing a printed part with solid colors were smartly added as eveningwear options, and injected a dash of romance and delicacy in the lineup.”
The 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, celebrated the best in music and raised funds for wildfire relief efforts in California and honoring first responders. Beyoncé led the nominations with a record-breaking 11 nods. Other top nominees included Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.
