Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco put their latest couple style moment on display with retro flair and Y2K edge at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. New Orleans Pelicans basketball game on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
Blanco opted for a take on triple-denim dressing for the basketball game, wearing a denim button-down shirt with a flared collar, along with light-wash and slightly ripped jeans and an oversize jacket adorned with several patches. He even accessorized with a few subtle jewelry pieces, including necklaces and bracelets.

Gomez opted for monochrome dressing, wearing a flowing black midi skirt with a coordinated sleeveless top and matching boots. She also carried a small Versace quilted clutch to accent her look further. The “Emilia Pérez” star’s glam featured the resurgent wet hair trend and viral side-part.
While the side-part has been a Y2K fixation since it was spotted on the red carpet and the runway during New York Fashion Week, the wet hair trend is slowly creeping back into the style zeitgeist thanks to the likes of Sydney Sweeney, who styled the trend at GQ’s Men of the Year 2025 event in November.

Held together by a wide black barrette, Gomez’s hair had a shiny quality to it with the ends flipped up for a fun, playful accentuation of the look. She augmented her attire with pieces of gold jewelry, including earrings and a dainty necklace.
Courtside seats at the L.A. Lakers games in Los Angeles have played host to several stars serving high-fashion moments. On Friday, during another home game for the Lakers, Megan Thee Stallion was spotted wearing a pair of basketball-orange lace-up stiletto boots with a distinct custom appeal.

Autumnal boots were also the style choice for model Winnie Harlow, who styled a pair of over-the-knee boots with a slouchy trend design at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks game.
Gomez and Blanco tied the knot in late September. Gomez styled looks courtesy of Ralph Lauren Collection, while Blanco suited up in pieces by the American designer as well.
