After a month of rehabbing his hand injury, Scottie Scheffler will make his 2025 season debut at next week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

On Christmas Day, while making homemade ravioli, Scheffler suffered a puncture wound in his hand, which required surgery shortly thereafter. The injury forced him to withdraw from the season-opening event at Kapalua in Maui.
When Scheffler announced his injury, he hoped to make his season debut at The American Express in mid-January. However, the World No. 1 did not feel healthy enough to do so and decided to withdraw from the event formerly known as the Bob Hope Classic in Palm Springs.
Scheffler last played at The Showdown on Dec. 17, when he and Rory McIlroy defeated LIV Golf foes Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. A week before that, Scheffler dominated the Hero World Challenge for the second straight year, winning by six. His victory in the Bahamas marked his ninth win of 2024.
As for his history at Pebble Beach, Scheffler has played in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am only once before. He tied for sixth there last year, when Wyndham Clark shot a 60 during the third round to win. It wound up being a 54-hole event due to inclement weather. Scheffler’s only other start at Pebble Beach came at the 2019 U.S. Open, but he missed the cut that week.
