Sarah Jessica Parker brought a structured and sustainable edge to summer tailoring during her appearance on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Wednesday in New York City, anchoring her polished look with a pair of black derbys from Parisian label Nomasei.
The actress wore the Sonics style in semi-patent black leather. Built on a stacked leather slat heel, the lace-up features a sleek square toe, waxed cotton laces and visible topstitching. Inside, memory foam padding and calf-leather lining maximize comfort, while a pale ivory pull tab stitched at the heel adds contrast.

The shoe is handmade in Montopoli, Tuscany, using leather sourced from France, Italy and Holland that is tanned and assembled in certified low-impact Italian factories.
Parker styled the grounded pair with cropped white trousers, cuffed above the ankle, and a black-and-white houndstooth blazer layered over a silky, bow-tied blouse. Her signature blonde waves were worn loose, and her makeup stayed minimal, letting the sharp lines and textures of her outfit take focus.

The appearance marks Parker’s second time in Nomasei this spring. She previously stepped out in the brand’s Adora crystal heels at the “And Just Like That” Season Three premiere in New York. Founded by Paule Tenaillon and Marine Braquet — veterans of Dior, Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton and Chloé — Nomasei is a direct-to-consumer brand focused on sustainability and ethical labor. All production is limited-run and traceable, with efforts to reduce overconsumption through timeless design and durable materials. The brand also participated in a 2025 Valentine’s Day capsule with (RED), contributing proceeds from select styles to the Global Fund for HIV prevention in sub-Saharan Africa.

Though Parker is best known for her sky-high heels, particularly in her role as Carrie Bradshaw, her off-screen footwear consistently leans pragmatic. In February, she wore classic Dolce & Gabbana pumps to the “SNL50” special in New York. In May, she chose archival Jimmy Choo snakeskin boots during press appearances in Paris. The Sonics offers a continuation of that pattern: shoes that are functional, grounded and fashion-forward without sacrificing comfort or intention.
