A bevy of stars and A-list talent hit the red carpet on Sunday for the British Independent Film Awards in London. Saoirse Ronan, Alicia Vikander and more were on hand to celebrate the best in film during 2024.
As A-list stars walked the red carpet, their individual sartorial statements stood out. Ahead, see what Ronan, Vikander and more wore to the 2024 British Independent Film Awards.
Saoirse Ronan
Ronan opted for a look courtesy of Erdem‘s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The actress styled a navy dress with subtle sparkles. The dress included a cape element, with fabric draping over one of Ronan’s shoulders. The gown also included a high neckline.
Ronan’s look was curated by stylist Danielle Goldberg, who’s also worked with Greta Lee, among others.
Alicia Vikander
Vikander glittered from head to toe in her custom gown by Louis Vuitton. The dress featured a plunging, round neckline, thin straps and a high slit at the front of the skirt. Ruffled fabric was also included at the hem of the slit and at the drop waist. Vikander is an ambassador for the French luxury fashion house.
Indira Varma
Indira Varma opted for sheer elements in her dress courtesy of Bora Aksu’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured floral elements on the fabric, along with a sheer overlay and billowing short sleeves.
Lucy Boynton
Lucy Boynton also embraced playful patterns. The actress wore a look courtesy of Chanel’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which featured flowing fabric, a playful, wide collar and belted waist with painted feather pieces.
Mia Mckenna-Bruce
Mia Mckenna-Bruce opted for a powerful red carpet look. The actress wore an ensemble courtesy of Christian Dior’s 2025 resort collection, featuring a purple tartan skirt and a chainmail bodice. Natalie Portman previously wore pieces from the collection.
The 2024 British Independent Film Awards celebrated the best in independent cinema in 2024. “Kneecap,” a film about the Belfast-based rap trio of the same name, swept the awards ceremony. Sean Baker’s “Anora” was named best international indie film.
