RosalÃa is ringing in her birthday by sharing âOmega,â a new song she recorded with Madrid-based singer-songwriter and producer Ralphie Choo. The two co-produced the track along with Noah Goldstein and Dylan Patrice. âOmegaâ also comes with a music video, directed by regular collaborator Stillz, of RosalÃa and Choo singing along while riding a rollercoaster together and laughing up a storm. Watch it below.
In a statement about the track, RosalÃa described Choo as âa whirlwind of energy in the studioâ and a âsuper creative and incredibly generousâ musician to work with. âOmega is the end, itâs the celebration of having found what you wanted and the security with which one decides to stay. Omega is firmness with the one you love that makes you not want to be anywhere else but there,â she added.
RosalÃaâs last album, the Grammy-winning Motomami, came out in 2022. Sheâs since recorded songs with a handful of high-profile artistsâincluding the Björk collaboration âOral,â the Rauw Alejandro single âVampiros,â and âNew Womanâ by Blackpinkâs Lisaâas well as songs of her own, like âTuya.â She also performed at Coachella in 2023.
As for Choo, he released his debut album, Supernova, last year, which features the Mura Masaâproduced single âMáquina Culonaââone of the best songs of 2023âand lead track âGata.â
