Regina Hall hit new heights in platforms by one of her go-to shoe brands at the 98th Academy Awards being held at Dolby Theatre on Sunday.

Hall went with shoes by Stuart Weitzman for the Oscars red carpet, opting for the brand’s Sohot platform sandals in a rich, black suede. The shoes featured a wide strap over the toes, and then an ultra slim strap around the ankle and connect to a delicate counter at the back of the foot, holding the shoes in place.
The five-inch heels are offset by a platform in the front that measures around two inches, creating some balance in the front.

The gold accent on the ankle strap paired well with the “One Battle After Another” star’s Yara Shoemaker fall 2023 couture gown. For the event, Hall chose a sculptural black gown that was designed with a gold corset bodice and a dramatic one-shoulder fold.
The dress also featured a high slit on the leg, which allowed her shoes to show as she walked through the red carpet. She completed the look with a gold clutch and a gold necklace that complemented her sharp bob.
