R.J. Harvey start or sit: Week 4 fantasy football advice

Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season will wrap up with a Monday night doubleheader and the second matchup will feature the Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Denver Broncos at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC.

The Broncos have dropped two straight heading into this primetime showdown and were felled by a last-second field goal in a 23-20 loss to the Chargers last Sunday. After a promising debut, rookie running back RJ Harvey has been quiet for the past few weeks and early fantasy hype for him is quickly dying down.

Below, we’ll go over Harvey’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 4.

Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos RB RJ Harvey

Harvey registered a measly two carries for two yards against the Chargers last Sunday and he has just seven carries for 10 yards in his last two weeks combined. That is a dramatic drop off from his 70-yard effort against the Titans in Week 1 and not only is he firmly behind veteran J.K. Dobbins in the pecking order, but quarterback Bo Nix has out-rushed him over the past two weeks.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton indicated this week that they’re trying to incorporate the UCF product into the passing game more, so we’ll see if that actually comes to fruition on Monday night.

Sit. Cincinnati is ranked 24th defensive rushing DVOA, so there is an opportunity here for Denver’s backs to get going at home here. But after the last two weeks, I’m pulling back on Harvey and taking a wait-and-see approach with him. Leave the rookie on the bench.
