Queen Letizia of Spain returned to her power suiting ways for a meeting at UNICEF headquarters on Wednesday in Madrid. The Spanish royal joined UNICEF president Gustavo Suarez Pertierra for a meeting with the board of trustees and the advisory council for Children and Adolescents of UNICEF.
For the business meeting, Queen Letizia wore a suit in a shade of black with a faint white pinstripe motif. The suit consisted of a single-breasted blazer with an elongated silhouette and long sleeves with a plunging cut and sharp lapels.

The trousers of Queen Letizia’s suit featured a tapered look. Beneath the blazer of her suited look, Queen Letizia opted for a powder blue blouse featuring a statement Lavallière element. The Spanish royal completed her attire with black patent leather pointed-toe kitten heels and a pair of delicate earrings.

The dress, in a shade described by the Spanish brand as marsala, featured a fitted bodice that transitioned into a flowing maxi-length skirt. Paired with black over-the-knee boots, the look marked a key transitional wardrobe staple, ideal for winter-to-spring attire as well as fall moments. Queen Letizia previously wore the dress in November 2024.
The Spanish royal’s attire for her UNICEF meeting on Wednesday was highly indicative of Queen Letizia’s staple wardrobe. The royal has long styled power suiting looks over the years, gravitating toward a trend that was popularized by the likes of Princess Diana in the 1980s, thanks in part to her own Catherine Walker suit moment with a Hackett waistcoat she wore to an event in April 1988.

In 2025 alone, Queen Letizia styled suited looks by such designers as Mango, Paul Smith, Sandro and many more.
