Shop From the H&M x e.l.f. Universe
For anyone who’s ever looked at an almost-empty bottle of face primer or skin tint and thought, “I wish more could come from this,” H&M has just released a much-anticipated fragrance collaboration with e.l.f. Cosmetics, bottling up exactly what makes the makeup brand’s Power Grip Primer, Halo Glow Liquid Filter, and Camo Collection special by turning those elusive qualities into a trio of eau de parfums.
The Halo Glow Luminous Cloud Eau de Parfum is a spritz-ready version of e.l.f.’s bestselling glow booster, which has been thoroughly tested by our editors (who, like many other reviewers, believe that it’s one of the best products for achieving a soft-focus, filter-like finish: “blend[ing] like a dream and visibly smooth[ing] skin”). All of its radiance-granting powers are effectively put towards a scent that comes alive with glowy warmth, courtesy of the mandarin, magnolia, coconut, sandalwood, and other ingredients found within. Long story short, you’ll feel elegant and feminine after spraying on this baby and stepping out the door — all while signaling to beauty gurus everywhere that you also know a thing or two about the leading foundation substitutes.
And if your fragrance wardrobe is long overdue for something fresh and slightly masculine, turn immediately to the partnership’s Power Grip Salty Drip perfume. Paying homage to the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer’s sea-blue contents, the 50-milliliter arrival promises to cling to skin with a “hydrating grip,” while pampering your entire bod with notes of eucalyptus, green leaf, cedarwood, and sea salt. This is just the thing to put on when you’re seeking some clarity in your life, as the already-buzzy formula works to uplift, reenergize, and clear the head, while never leaving headaches in its wake.
Because all good things come in threes, we’d be remiss not to point your attention (and wallet) to the final fragrance in this lineup. Harnessing the continued obsession with chocolate brown, its bottle is a sight to behold, equipped with an opaque cap that resembles a pebble in texture and shape. We’re talking about the Camo Blend Nude Canvas Eau de Parfum, of course, which is capable of “blending seamlessly into skin” (much like its Camo CC Cream, Camo Powder Foundation, and Hydrating Camo Concealer predecessors) and blesses wearers with the musky and the sweet both. Those with a good nose will be able to separate out the perfume’s layers of vanilla, palo santo, praline, and juniper berry. (If you ask us, there couldn’t be a better combination for the cold-weather months.)
Thought that’s the end of H&M and e.l.f.’s endeavors? Think again. Seeing as how the former is prized for its Gen Z–coded accessories that remain at accessible price levels, the three beauty buys here are complemented by bags, charms, and grippy socks. While said charm is puffy, padded, pink, and comes with gold hardware that includes the word “Halo,” the two brands’ under-$50 handbag stuns with its suede-like finish and practical features like a detachable shoulder strap. Charmingly enough, its mini-me is attached to the handle — ideal for organizing your coins or keeping a favored lippie (may we suggest e.l.f.’s own Glow Reviver Lip Oil?) nearby at all times.
Lastly, those socks will take you from pilates class to the Netflix marathon on the couch, being hard to turn away from thanks to all that shimmer. Note that if you’re enticed by every last item we mentioned, grabbing them all will only cost you somewhere around $170. ‘Tis the beauty of affordable-yet-covetable purchases that don’t skimp on quality.
Whether you stock up on these finds for yourself or get them for a Galentine, the world will be a better-smelling place for it.
