The fantasy playoffs are over and now we get the real NFL playoffs so we can play some more fantasy football! That’s why they play the game right? So we can play fantasy? I say yes. Below we have the running back rankings for the first round of the playoffs. We have six games through three days this weekend and plenty of good running backs to choose from. There’s both the rushing leader in James Cook and the fantasy leader in Christian McCaffrey (who did not get injured!). Many of the bigger fantasy studs like Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jonathan Taylor, and De’Von Achane will all be watching from their couch though.
Jacobs has been playing through knee and ankle issues for the last month or so, but was able to get Week 18 off to rest for the playoffs. He likely won’t be 100%, but he has been playing well despite the injuries.
Jordan has played decently with Nick Chubb and Woody Marks dealing with injuries, but then he was forced from Week 18’s game with his own ankle injury. British Brooks saw the most work behind Jordan with Nick Chubb inactive. Marks is still the lead back, but whoever can get that backup job should see enough work to have some value in deeper playoff leagues.
