Pharrell x Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish ‘Triple Black’ KJ3841

After an in-person release at Billionaire Boys Club SoHo that became so rowdy it was shut down by the NYPD, Pharrell Williams’ new Triple Black colorway of his Shoe of the Year-winning Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish collaboration is set for a wider secondary release in 2026.

Following the NYC-exclusive drop, the Pharrell x Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish Triple Black will be released to a wider audience next year, something that we can say with certainty with the arrival of new official images. The latest style drains the exaggerated aquatic-inspired collaboration of its signature color, opting for a fully blacked-out look which was apropos for its New York debut. Despite the triple-black color blocking, Adidas says the style features glow-in-the-dark detailing, which was otherwise only seen on the sneaker’s green colorway.

On Dec. 3, Williams was honored with the Shoe of the Year award at the 2025 FNAAs. 

When asked if he feels pressured to outdo himself year after year, Williams told FN that he channels the expectations into freedom to explore. “Pressure? I don’t see it like that. I see it as freedom. There’s expectation, but really there’s an invitation to go a little further, to explore a little beyond.”

“Pharrell is one of the most creative persons on the planet and is a unique partner for us,” Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden told FN. “The [Jellyfish] shoe captures this. Awards are nice, but what really matters is how excited consumers are about the shoe. That makes us proud as a team. It’s always good when creativity and relevance come together.”

While fans await a confirmed release date, official Adidas product images of the Pharrell x Adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish Triple Black have surfaced and are pictured below. The sneaker will be released next year for a retail price of $300 and its style code is KJ3841.
