Paul Stuart to Dress Jazz Singer Peter Cincotti for Café Carlyle Residency

When Peter Cincotti slips onto his piano stool for his holiday residency at the Café Carlyle, he’ll be dressed to the nines, thanks to Paul Stuart.

The New York specialty store has signed on to be the official clothier of the singer-songwriter for his shows at the renowned cabaret, slated from Dec. 17 to 31. As part of the deal, Cincotti will also hold a special performance in the Paul Stuart flagship on Saturday.

For his residency appearances, he’ll be wearing a Paul Stuart super 110s wool mid gray suit with a Phineas Cole poplin dress shirt and silk woven deco striped tie or a Phineas Cole wool and mohair Drake tuxedo with a Paul Stuart pique bib-front cotton formal shirt and a formal black satin bow tie.

“There is nothing like performing in a classic, well-made suit, and I’m proud to be wearing Paul Stuart on stage at Café Carlyle this December,” Cincotti said.

Peter Cincotti has released his first live album, recorded at Café Carlyle.

“At Paul Stuart, we are dedicated to creating an unparalleled in-store experience that reflects our commitment to hospitality and timeless elegance,” said Trevor Shimpfky, chief executive officer. “The holiday season is the perfect moment to showcase these values and celebrate traditions. Collaborating with Peter for his holiday residency at the Café Carlyle was a natural fit — his music and artistry perfectly align with our DNA, rooted in New York heritage, sophistication and a shared appreciation for the finer things in life.”

Cincotti released a vinyl album, “Peter Cincotti Live at Café Carlyle,” on Nov. 29 that is available only at The Carlyle hotel for six months, at which point it will be available for streaming. The 10-song work showcases Cincotti’s distinct blend of pop, rock, blues and jazz.

“For everyone who can’t make it to one of my shows at Café Carlyle, this album brings the show to you,” the artist said. “This is my first live album ever and I couldn’t be happier that we were able to capture the raw and real experience of being there with us in this iconic room.”
