Overall PPR dynasty fantasy football rankings

If you are starting a new dynasty league or just looking to figure out dynasty value, these rankings are a good starting point. When putting together dynasty rankings, there are many factors you need to consider. Age, ability, opportunity, position, offensive coaching tendencies, contract, and many other factors play a role in a player’s fantasy value over the next 3-5 years.

We are going to be wrong often, as it is impossible to get all of these factors correct, but thankfully we just need to be right more often than our opponents. Prioritizing stud wide receivers is a good start, as they usually have longer and more consistent fantasy production than running backs. But, you also want to grab running backs when they’re young, as they tend to fall off much quicker than other positions. It sounds corny, but you truly need to think like an NFL general manager. And GMs get things wrong all the time.

As you know, there is no such thing as a sleeper in fantasy football anymore. Everyone is known. But, there are players that others might not value as much as you do. Players that you can likely get later in drafts who also have good upside for the future.

Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars

There’s a good chance that many of your leaguemates have soured on the supposed generational talent of Lawrence. And it makes sense. Lawrence has underwhelmed so far in his career. But, there is some good news as we head into the 2025 season. The Jaguars drafted wide receiver Travis Hunter to pair with stud receiver Brian Thomas Jr. and new head coach Liam Coen just took Baker Mayfield and turned him into a top fantasy quarterback in Tampa Bay. Mayfield had similar stats to Lawrence before Coen took him under his wing, and Lawrence has more upside than Mayfield.

He won’t be extremely cheap, but he’s still a good value behind the disgruntled James Cook, who is looking for a contract he won’t get. The Bills offensive floor remains high with Josh Allen at the helm and we’ve seen Davis play well in Cook’s absence last season. I like his longterm value at a decent price.

Njoku has broken out as a top-12 tight end, so he’s not going to be cheap. The good news is that he’s got upside to be the top tight end in the league with Old Man Flacco likely targeting him like the top tight end he is. In Flacco’s six games with the Browns in 2023, Njoku averaged 6.2 catches for 80.5 yards and 0.67 TDs. And he’s actually not that expensive, as he sits at TE14 right now in dynasty ADP.

Roschon Johnson, RB, Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams might not be as great as we had hoped, but with head coach Ben Johnson taking the reins of the offense, there is little doubt they will be better moving forward. We’ve seen how efficient Johnson made the Lions’ run game, as both Davd Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs lit up the fantasy points scoreboard. The Bears also didn’t go after running backs this offseason, which has kept Johnson as the No. 2 behind D’Andre Swift. The opportunity will be there this season for him and if he can show out, he could win the starting job or at the very least be a strong contributor in an improved offense.

Woody Marks, RB, Houston Texans

Marks isn’t going to blow your doors off, but he is setting up for a strong position in the Texans backfield. Right now Joe Mixon continues to deal with a foot injury that has plagued him for longer than we’d hope, while Nick Chubb is more than likely washed now that age and injuries appear to have caught up with him. Marks is a good receiving back, which the Texans are likely going to need with a poor offensive line. His dynasty appeal isn’t great, but he is going so late in drafts at the moment that he could be a steal for this season in PPR leagues.
