A bevy of A-list guests and high-profile figures were treated to courtside entertainment at Tommy Hilfiger‘s New York Knicks game VIP watch party on Saturday in New York City. Several stars styled pieces courtesy of the American fashion brand, including the label’s new brand ’47 capsule collection basketball caps.
Social media star Olivia Ponton was among the figures who attended Saturday’s game. The influencer wore a Tommy Hilfiger cropped logo long-sleeve top, jeans, a logo belt, ballet flats and a ’47 for Tommy collaboration New York Knicks hat.
New York Knicks player Jalen Brunson also styled pieces from the American designer. The athlete wore a Tommy Hilfiger monogram varsity jacket over a white T-shirt, which he paired with chinos, a ’47 for Tommy collaboration New York Knicks cap and white sneakers.
Fashion designer Rachel Roy’s daughter Ava Dash was also courtside for the game. She styled a Tommy Hilfiger cable knit sweater, a classic striped shirt paired with jeans, a cross-body bag and mary jane ballet flats and completed the look with a ’47 for Tommy collaboration New York Knicks hat. Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee, “Power” actor Michael Rainey Jr. and more attended the event.
WWD previously reported on Tommy Hilfiger’s latest collaboration with brand ’47. The collection of basketball caps celebrates NBA teams like the Boston Celtics, the Chicago Bulls, the New York Knicks, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat.
“Basketball is more than a game — it’s a cultural force that unites communities and inspires dreams,” Hilfiger said of the capsule collection and collaboration. The pieces feature ’47’s signature six-panel Clean Up silhouette and the capsule is inspired by Hilfiger’s ’90s nostalgia and nods to Americana.
“This collection celebrates the spirit of the sport, celebrating the grit and determination of the players, from street courts to stadiums. It’s a tribute to our deep connection with athletics, delivering timeless style for every step of the way.”
