Officine Générale Fall 2025 Men’s Fashion Show and Collection Review

Pierre Mahéo didn’t travel far for his latest show, which took place at his favorite neighborhood hangout, Brasserie Rouquet on Boulevard Saint Germain, where he invited guests to savor his day-to-day, if even for an hour.

Guests crowded into the brasserie, which was last decorated in 1953, and sat down at tables to drink Champagne and nibble on nuts. Instead of gazing at all the passersby, they watched male and female models — of all ages — snake their way around the terrace and inside rooms.

It was a charming moment on a rainy Friday afternoon, and the flowing Champagne added to the warm and generous mood. “I wanted something small and intimate, I wanted to try a new show format,” said the designer, who was wrapped in his signature blue scarf and buzzing after the show.

The clothing was cozy, classic and unmistakably Mahéo’s. There were navy peacoats and longer styles in black, olive and brown tweed. Suits — styled with sneakers — were easy and came in subtle brown check or gray with roomy trousers.

Leather flower pins, some with beaded fringe, adorned the lapels of softly structured jackets and knits, while some models sported necklaces hung with carabiner-style charms.

He styled many of the looks with his beloved, voluminous scarves and cozy vests and stuck to a comforting color palette of navy, gray, brown and black. It gave a whole new meaning to streetwear.
