Nina Dobrev joined the plethora of celebrities showcasing the snakeskin shoe trend this summer on an outing with fiancé Shaun White in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The “Vampire Diaries” star slipped into a pair of sleek, pointed-toe flats featuring a classic slingback silhouette with a rounded vamp and a slight block heel. The reptilian style appeared to be made of leather and came in a light brown colorway with black accents that seamlessly complemented the flowing black dress she wore.

Dobrev’s frock, which she cinched at the waist with a coordinating black belt boasting a chunky silver buckle, included a high neckline with slinky shoulder straps and an asymmetrical hemline. The Canadian actress rounded out her chic ensemble with black sunglasses and a black Prada shoulder bag.
Dobrev is just the latest celebrity to show off snakeskin shoes of late, with celebrities like Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker and Michael B. Jordan opting for variations of the look during appearances in recent months.

Both Rihanna and Parker wore Jimmy Choo snake-embossed shoes recently. While the Fenty mogul donned a pair of cream and gray python-print Romy stilettos in Los Angeles earlier this month, the “Sex and the City” star wore knee-high snakeskin boots from the iconic footwear brand while promoting “And Just Like That” in Paris in May. As for Jordan, the “Creed” actor also stomped out in boots displaying a bold snake pattern. Moreover, Meryl Streep was seen in snakeskin heels on the set of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” in August.
A number of leading fashion brands, from Miu Miu to Argent and Margaux, incorporated snake-embossed shoe styles as a part of their fall 2025 collections. Adidas also just dropped a line of snake-print Sambas. The capsule collection, the “Snakeskin” pack, features two colorways: dark green and brown.
