Nikola Jokic is already cemented his place as the best passing big man in NBA history, and passes like the one he dished on Wednesday night are examples why.
The awareness and basketball IQ to draw in defenders, and perfectly dish the ball to a cutting Aaron Gordon for the easy dunk is a thing of absolute beauty. It’s not like Joker moves like a point guard, but he sure as heck passes like one with his timing, touch, and array of ways he’s able to get the ball to his teammates.
The NBA went a step further in comparing him to Magic Johnson last December, and to be honest — this video is pretty compelling evidence of their comparison.

Jokic drew early comparisons to fellow Euro big Vlade Divac in terms of his passing prowess, but at this point there’s no mentioning the two in the same breath. Jokic has become one of the most dominant big men of all time in every phase of the game, and truthfully, we’re just lucky to be witnessing it.
