Nike WNBA 30th Anniversary Sneaker Collection Release Date

The WNBA will begin its 30th season in just over a month, and to commemorate the pearl anniversary, Nike has prepped an assortment of sneakers for both on and off the court.

Confirmed in the mix thus far are the Air Force 1 Low, Dunk Low, Sabrina 3 and GT Cut 3. All four share a mix of white, blue and red — but from there the treatments are distinct as the sneakers themselves.

Rendered primarily in white is the Air Force 1 Low, which then gets blue and red trim throughout for its overlays. An iridescent badge on the lateral heel denotes the anniversary, and a blue stripe runs down the middle of the heel.

The same iridescent badge features on the Dunk Low with a Swoosh carrying the same sheen, and the rest of its overlays appear in red atop the white base.

Moving over the GT Cut 4, the badge shifts to the heel and is in white with a rubberized treatment. The overall treatment is the boldest of the lot, with an upper split with blue and white speckle on the lateral half and solid red on the medial. Metallic silver is then used for the sole unit.

Rounding out the assortment, as it’s known for now, is the Sabrina 3, which employs a white upper with blue textured Swoosh and red internal cables visible underneath. Two shades of blue are used for the forefront of the midsole and outsole, while the heel’s “i” logos appear are mismatched in red and blue. An “est. 1996” hangtag is affixed to the Swoosh, and iridescent basketball tongue tags feature a unique WNBA anniversary graphic on one shoe and Sabrina Ionescu’s “S” logo on the other.

Nike’s WNBA 30th Anniversary sneaker collection will release on April 24, roughly two weeks before the season begins. Pricing ranges from $125 for the Air Force 1 Low to $135 for the Sabrina 3.
