As the U.S. is gearing up for its World Cup hosting duties this June and July — with the U.S. men’s soccer team’s opening match to take place at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium to be the location of the much-anticipated final — Nike has come out with 2026 team kits in collaboration with U.S. Soccer. To be worn by players across all 27 national teams in the country, the two distinct jersey styles (plus a dedicated goalkeeper kit) are now yours to don proudly as you engage in this momentous occasion as a spectator.

The official Nike jerseys can be purchased at U.S. Soccer’s online storefront. Prices start at $85 (for the infant and youth selections) and go up to $235 in case you want to personalize the attire with a given player’s name and number or your own. Women’s sizing is also available for this drop, but if you want to take home a piece of soccer history, you have to act fast — as the most in-demand Nike x U.S. Soccer apparel for 2026 is already almost sold out.

To construct its FIFA World Cup kits for U.S. soccer players, Nike looked to the motifs that have been closely associated with the United States since its inception. In other words, stars and stripes take center stage here, but tackiness is averted in favor of a visual vocabulary that feels cool and keeps athleticism front of mind. The Men’s Nike USMNT 2026 Stars Stadium Jersey, for instance, boasts Nike’s sweat-wicking Dri-Fit technology; almost-transparent stars all down the front, back, and sleeves; an embroidered team crest at the chest; and a relaxed fit for moving through your day, on or off the pitch, with fluidity.

Interestingly enough, every stadium jersey in the release has a counterpart in the form of what’s called a match jersey. The latter, per Nike, features “the same high-performance technology worn by players on the field, including Aero-Fit construction and a lightweight raised silicone crest”; the former is a more affordable alternative for casual wear. That being said, the Men’s Nike USMNT 2026 Stars Match Jersey will cost you $80 more: not so high of a price differential considering it will help you feel closer to the athletes you most admire.

Want something bolder for showing off your patriotism? Go for the Men’s Nike USMNT 2026 Stripes Stadium Jersey, which secures a game-ready look via alternating stripes of red and white that succeed at imitating an undulating American flag. Ventilation and all-day wearability are guarantees of this style as well, and you can similarly snag it with more authentic specs for $180. For reference, the match jerseys’ Aero-Fit material is on a totally different level than the aforementioned Dri-Fit innovation: being “capable of channeling more than double the airflow of legacy Nike athletic apparel to help enable peak performance in extreme conditions,” according to Nike.

One of our personal favorite parts of this partnership is the goalkeeper kit, which aims to bring glamour and prestige back to the people who find themselves between the posts. Nike’s goalkeeper jerseys for men, women, and children have a color palette rooted in green, flaunt an oversized, central star, and are some of the most statement-making buys of the bunch.

What’s also impressive: Nike made sure actual USMNT players were part of the Nike x U.S. Soccer collection’s ideation process from start to finish. A series of design workshops and listening sessions were held, during which the cohort weighed in on elements like fit, feel, fabric weight, mobility, and even seam placement. Breathability was a crucial consideration, too, given the fact that experts are already issuing warnings about extreme heat conditions in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico for the World Cup.

Can’t decide between Team Stars or Team Stripes? Here’s some advice: “I think between both kits there is something for everybody,” Ronnie J. Stewart, global product director for Nike, said in a press release. “If you want to be loud and proud and represent the crest, no one’s going to doubt who you’re there for in the [stripes] kit. If you’re looking for that lifestyle look that works off the field, the [stars are] for you.”

Once your jerseys of choice arrive, you’ll find that they’re equipped with some secret, symbolic details that weren’t visible online: an “Inner Pride” mark inside the collar included, to remind you to stay motivated, never lose sight of the goal, and remember just how far you’ve come.

In the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we envision almost every Nike x U.S. Soccer piece selling out directly at ussoccer.com, with price gouging soon to follow on resale sites like eBay. In other words, waste no time in shopping the special-edition jerseys for yourself and your whole family.
