Nike .Swoosh ReactX Rejuven8 Slide Touch Grass Pack Release Date

When it first launched earlier this year, Nike’s ReactX Rejuven8 clog couldn’t stay in stock. The recovery clog made out of one of Nike‘s more responsive foams sold out remarkably quickly for its category of footwear, and the subsequent release of a slide variant was also well received. Both silhouettes can now be purchased by ease now, but a new project from the digital-oriented .Swoosh line appears set to bring back the hype.

The Nike .Swoosh ReactX Rejuven8 “Touch Grass” pack will release soon with two distinct makeups informed by the idiom that urges people to step away from their devices and reorient themselves with the real world.

One, dubbed “Fresh,” puts a shaggy and lush green cover across the upper to simulate the actual experience of touching grass. Printed across the outsoles is the instruction, “For indoor use only.” A second “Parched” edition then takes after less healthy grass for a realistic print incorporated directly into the foam and no such warnings about outdoor use.

ReactX Rejuven8 clogs and slides make use of the namesake foam that’s a fixture of several Nike running shoes. The two models are beloved both for their comfort and sleek aesthetic, and the Portland-based giant has since begun a rollout for an even more technical slip-on the Mind 001, which employs nodes that have been scientifically proven to calm the mind with the pressure they create underfoot.

Nike’s .Swoosh line, which launched in 2022 amid the NFT craze, has meanwhile had its most buzzy year yet with releases including two Air Max 95s made in collaboration with “Yu-Gi-Oh!” and Air Max 1s unofficially tied to “Donkey Kong” and “GoldenEye 007.”

The Nike .Swoosh ReactX Rejuven8 “Touch Grass” pack will release Dec. 19 through the Snkrs app. Pricing for the “Parched” pair is set at $85, while the cost for “Fresh” has yet to be confirmed.
