LeBron James is scheduled to play in his 20th career Christmas Day game this year, extending his lead over Kobe Bryant for the most in an NBA career. Barring any surprises, leaked official images tip off what he’ll wear for one of the league’s premiere sneaker occasions.
The Nike LeBron 23 Stocking Stuffer strays from the usual red and green arrangement for holiday sneakers. Iridescent blue forms the lower half of the upper, while red appears up top. Beneath is a translucent green outsole, and a purple tongue hosts a patch with James’ embossed signature and rivets that read Best Ever,” both in gold. The only overt Christmas decoration comes on the heel, as James’ crown logo is split between the two shoes and refastened into stockings stuffed with coal.
Like all other editions of the LeBron 23, the sneaker will come with the heel logo replicated on a charm within the packaging.
Nike‘s 2025 holiday slate will also include the first-ever return of Kobe Bryant’s Christmas shoe from 2007, and this time it’ll come with an extra set of fuzzy laces to simulate snow and an ornament in the shape of his logo. The Ja 3 and KD 18 will both share a “Snowed In” treatment with white and neons, and Victor Wembanyama will get his first Christmas shoe through a dedicated colorway of the GT Hustle 3.
If red and green are what you’re looking for, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Converse Shai 001 and the Adidas Anthony Edwards 2 employ the two colors, the latter in mismatched form.
The Nike LeBron 23 Stocking Stuffer will release Dec. 26 through the Snkrs app. Pricing is set at $210.
