MILAN — Soccer clubs have been driving cultural and fashion interest for a long time, but under-the-radar teams have been picking up momentum recently with high-profile collaborations.
The latest sign of the trend is a collaboration between Italy’s Ravenna FC, a Series C league club established in 1913, with luxury food, hospitality and leisure brand Cipriani and sportswear giant Nike.
The result is a lifestyle capsule collection under the moniker Ravenna by Cipriani x Nike, which comprises jerseys, polos, tracksuits and shorts, as well as caps and Nike’s Air Force sneakers.
Done in a palette of classic shades, ranging from mélange gray to navy and burgundy, all the items in the limited-edition capsule are emblazoned with the soccer club’s official crest, Nike’s swoosh logo and Cipriani signature emblem of a bartender shaking a cocktail.
The collaboration “aims to be a cultural project: an authentic dialogue between three kindred worlds — the elegance of Cipriani, the innovation of Nike, and the historical identity of Ravenna Calcio,” the three entities said in a joint statement. “The meeting point lies in the vision of soccer as a daily, social and generational experience.”
The capsule will be available at select retailers globally, as well as at Cipriani physical outposts and e-commerce platform. It retails between 55 euros for the baseball cap and 189 euros for the Air Force sneakers.

Developed under the artistic direction of the Italian streetwear and sportswear maven Giorgio Mallone, the tie-up builds on the existing link between the Ravenna FC soccer club and the Cipriani family, after fourth-generation member Ignazio Cipriani acquired the team in June 2024 alongside the Black Duck investment fund helmed by Niccolò Maisto and Michele Attisani. Cipriani has been named the soccer club’s president.
In addition to his investment in the sports field, Ignazio Cipriani, together with his brother Maggio, has established the Mr C. Hotels brand, part of the Cipriani hospitality galaxy. The brand currently operates a hotel in Miami’s Coconut Grove and plans an opening in West Palm Beach, as well as residences in Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Coconut Grove, Fla., as well as Downtown and at the Jumierah in Dubai.

The Ravenna FC is based in the town of the same name located in the Emilia-Romagna region and is known for its well-preserved late Roman and Byzantine architecture and mosaics, with eight buildings forming one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The team is currently in second place in the Series C league and plays home match at the Bruno Benelli stadium. Its defining colors are red and yellow.
