One of Nike’s rarest Foamposite sneakers is coming back, but this time it’s equipped with a new twist — and don’t expect it to be any easier to get.
More than a decade after its original release, the China-exclusive Nike Air Foamposite One “Tianjin” is set to return in a new form this year. Shifting from the black base color of the original to white, the colorway is covered in the familiar Chinese art motif mixing lotus flowers and fish scales. The scale pattern extends to the shoe’s nubuck eyestay, while the tongue includes lotus flower embroidery.
Aside from the new base color and updated artwork, the key change to the upcoming “Tianjin 2.0” style is its jade-colored outsole, which replaces the lava red look of the original. The new version also features Chinese characters over yellow embroidery at the heel and multicolor threading on the heel and tongue pull tabs.

Released exclusively in China, the original Tianjin Nike Air Foamposite One is among the sneaker’s most coveted and valuable styles on the secondary market. However, the pair has become so rare that sales are similarly scarce; StockX’s most recent sale was in September 2024. Previous documented sales frequently eclipsed the $2,000 mark, with a number of them as high as $6,000.
Along with the Tianjin 2.0 style featured here, Nike’s Foamposite line will receive plenty of attention in 2026, particularly the Air Foamposite Pro model. It’s expected to be reissued in several familiar colorways and will also be introduced in new looks including glow-in-the-dark and NCAA football-themed iterations.
Like the 2015 original, the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One PRM Tianjin 2.0 is expected to feature similar China-exclusive availability in limited-edition quantities. The sneaker’s full colorway is White/Light Poison Green/Black/Lava Glow/Tour Yellow and its style code is IR2078-100. It’s expected to be released in May for a to-be-confirmed retail price.
