Niecy Nash coordinated with her wife Jessica Betts in black-and-white hues at the 2024 Sovas Voice Arts Awards on Sunday in Beverly Hills. The annual ceremony honors achievements in the voice acting industry.
Nash selected a plunging mermaid gown with ruffled sleeves, accessorizing with jeweled statement earrings, a tennis bracelet and a top-handle purse. Wearing her dark tresses in a cropped cut with bangs, her makeup consisted of shimmery eye shadow and a nude lip.
Nash currently works with stylist Ashley Sean Thomas, who also counts Brandy and Toni Braxton as clients.
Betts, meanwhile, opted for a white blazer, layering it over a black button-up and baggy trousers. Metallic wingtip shoes completed her look.
Nash and Betts, who have been married since 2020, frequently coordinate their red carpet looks. At the New York premiere of the former’s latest series, “Grotesquerie,” in September, both sported purple ensembles. Nash donned a draped satin hooded jumpsuit Attic Koncept, while Betts paired a lilac button-up with pleated aubergine pants.
“Grotesquerie” is a new FX thriller from Ryan Murphy about a detective, played by Nash, and a nun who work together to solve a series of homicides, connecting a web of disturbing clues. The series also stars Oscar nominee Lesley Manville, Courtney B. Vance and Travis Kelce.
Nash won her first Emmy in 2023 for her role as Glenda Cleveland in Murphy’s “Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story.” The second season of his true crime anthology, which focused on the Erik and Lyle Menendez case, is nominated for three Golden Globes, including Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
