Nicole Kidman made a three-dimensional statement at the red carpet premiere of her new film “Babygirl” during the 2024 Venice Film Festival on Friday.
The Aussie actress selected a gown from Schiaparelli‘s fall 2024 couture collection, which featured a structured corset dripping in beaded fringe and a velvet column skirt. She accessorized with Roberto Coin jewelry, including diamond-encrusted rings and a pair of pearl drop earrings.
Jason Bolden, who also dresses stars like Sabrina Carpenter and Cynthia Erivo, styled Kidman for the occasion.
Hairdresser Adir Abergel styled the “Expats” star’s strawberry blond tresses in beachy waves, while Kidman’s makeup consisted of a brown smokey eye and pink blush.
Earlier in the day, Kidman attended a photo call for “Babygirl” in a plunging puff-sleeve black dress. She added on a pair of white peep-toe mules, a watch and geometric statement earrings, wearing her hair in a half-updo.
“Babygirl,” out Dec. 25 in the United States, follows a high-ranking executive (Kidman) who begins an affair with a much younger intern (Harris Dickinson). The erotic thriller is directed by “Bodies Bodies Bodies” helmer Halina Reijn. Antonio Banderas and Sophie Wilde costar.
The Venice Film Festival, held annually in Italy, features new motion pictures from around the world. The 2024 jury is led by actress Isabelle Huppert, while this year’s festival includes high-profile premieres of Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” Pedro Almodovar’s “The Room Next Door” and Todd Phillips’ “Joker: Folie à Deux” among other films.
