Nicole Kidman opted for noir styling in a monochrome black ensemble with pieces by Khaite for her Monday night appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City.
For her late night outing, the Oscar-winning actress wore the Roto jacket in black leather paired with the Winton skirt in black from the New York City-based brand’s spring 2026 collection. Crafted in leather, the Roto jacket featured long sleeves with a rounded collar and a cropped silhouette.

Five buttons were sewn down the front placket of the piece, along with breast pockets that featured on both sides of the jacket for a symmetrical effect. Kidman’s skirt provided continuity to the sleek, noir-inspired look with a pencil silhouette and midi hem. The actress’ look was made complete with sheer black tights and black pointed-toe heels.
As for accessories, Kidman went mostly minimal save for a pair of statement earrings tucked behind her blond hair. The actress’ blond hairdo was styled with soft waves and worn down with a middle part, styled by Adir Abergel. Artist Gucci Westman provided makeup for the actress, featuring bold brows and a soft lip. Stylist Jason Bolden curated Kidman’s look.
Founded in 2016 by creative director Catherine Holstein, Khaite’s rapidly become a go-to luxury women’s brand for many an A-list celebrity. Stars like Emma Stone, Julianne Hough and Daisy Edgar-Jones have styled several looks, from clothing to footwear, from the label over the last year.

As to the sartorial theme of Kidman’s late-night attire, her noir ensemble seemingly evoked the thematic elements of her forthcoming new series. Noir styling has also been popular for other brands, with aforementioned actress Edgar-Jones opting for a noir-inspired trenchcoat look at Burberry’s fall 2026 collection show during London Fashion Week on Feb. 23.
“Scarpetta,” based on the book series by Patricia Cornwell, follows forensic pathologist Kay Scarpetta, played by Kidman, as she returns to her job only to find herself haunted by a case with similarities to one from her past. The series arrives March 11 on Prime Video.
