NFL 2025 season: Best bets for Offensive Rookie of the Year award

The 2025 NFL Draft wasn’t considered overly heavy on impact talent, especially at the quarterback position.

Yet, there were many potential early impact players at offensive skill-position. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some top betting value options to win the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Using odds provided by our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, we are going to look at some players who provide strong value to win the award.

Keep in mind, we’re looking for the best value and will stay away from favorites, running back Ashton Jeanty of the Las Vegas Raiders and quarterback Cam Ward of the Tennessee Titans.

Here we go:

Travis Hunter, wide receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars:

Hunter has the best (lowest) odds of anyone on this list at 9-1. Let’s face it; if we knew that the Jaguars would use Hunter primarily on offense and not use him much at cornerback, he’d be the favorite to win this award. So, let’s take advantage of this great value and hammer it. Hunter is a special player and he could put up great numbers even if he plays a lot on defense as well. In fact, even if Hunter doesn’t have the best overall offensive season stats wise and he plays a lot of defense, he could get a lot of votes for this award just because. So, this is a worthwhile play.

Tyler Shough, quarterback, New Orleans Saints:

Shough is priced at 12-1 to win the rookie of the year award. Frankly, I don’t love the odds. I’d like to see this priced in 18/20-1 range. But voters love quarterbacks for awards and the second-round pick from Louisville has a wide-open road to being the Saints’ starter. Many scouts think he the most-NFL ready quarterback in this draft, so there is a lot of dot connecting here to make this bet.

Omarion Hampton, running back, Los Angeles Chargers:

This is a terrific player-system fit. The Chargers want to run the ball a lot and the first-round pick from North Carolina will get an instant opportunity to be a true bell-cow tailback and rack up huge numbers. While Jeanty stands is his way, Hampton is a solid bet at 14-1.

TreVeyon Henderson, running back, New England Patriots:

This is another running back who has Jeanty looming as an road block to this award. But the second-round pick from Ohio State has been getting a lot of buzz for his work in the OTA sessions. He may get a lot of opportunities on the ground and as a receiver out of the backfield. So, the potential for big numbers are there. At 22-1, it’s worthwhile.

Jaxson Dart, quarterback, New York Giants:

This is my favorite current bet for this award. The first-round pick is priced at 22-1. That is a great value for a quarterback. The key is that the Giants make Dart the starter early in the season to help him compile the numbers it takes to win the award. There has been no current indication of that happening. Yet, that could change quickly. Dart has been getting a lot of love for his polish and leadership in the offseason work. If coach Brian Daboll, who is entering the season on the hot seat, sees enough in training camp and the preseason to believe the job won’t be too big for Dart, he could get the job early. The Giants know what they have in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Dart is the future and it could start soon. If it does, this is fabulous value. Oh, and yes, East Coast bias is a thing in these types of votes. Take advantage of it.

Matthew Golden, wide receiver, Green Bay Packers:

Let’s end this with a 30-1 lottery ticket. The Packers are going to give Golden a big chance to be a star right away. If he puts up numbers and helps push Green Bay to an elite record, this ticket could cash.
