Mindy Kaling dressed in a little black dress and Christian Louboutin pumps, with subtle sparkle, for the 2026 WWD Style Awards in Los Angeles on Friday.
Kaling was on hand to present her stylist, Erin Walsh, with the Style Maker of the Year Award. For the celebratory occasion, she modeled a glamorous footwear style from Christian Louboutin, a black pump with dainty rows of crystal trim and a mesh portion offering material contrast. The silhouette featured a classic pointed toe and low vamp.
Kaling’s footwear accompanied a ruched black leather minidress with asymmetric elements including one shoulder strap and a structured skirt with a bead-embroidered sheer section at the bottom.

Walsh has dressed Kaling for a number of occasions. Recall, for instance, the silver Oscar de la Renta gown the television mogul wore to the 2025 Oscars, or the black silk dress with a peplum hemline from The New Arrivals worn to her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony in February.

In addition to working with Kaling, Walsh’s list of A-list clientele includes Anne Hathaway, Selena Gomez and Sarah Jessica Parker, among others. She will also be releasing a book, “The Art of Intentional Dressing: Your Essential Style Guide for Manifesting a Magnetic Life,” in May 2026.
As part of Golden Week, the WWD Style Awards honor the creative forces shaping red-carpet style across fashion, beauty and accessories. This year’s event honor edGiorgio Armani with the Red Carpet Visionary Award, accepted by George Clooney on behalf of the late designer. Other honorees included Demi Moore, Pamela Anderson, Hailey Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian Barker. The VIP event was presented by Amazon Beauty, Donna Karan New York, and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
