Melania Trump Wears Manolo Blahnik Pumps at White House

First Lady Melania Trump made a stylish appearance at the White House on Friday in a pair of Manolo Blahnik snake red pumps.

Celebrating Independence Day alongside President Donald Trump, the couple watched B-2 Spirit stealth bombers perform a military flyover during a Fourth of July celebration from the Blue Room balcony of the White House, and for the occasion, Melania opted for a pair of the Manolo Blahnik BB 105 Snake Red pumps, which feature a colorful red and white striped design. A versatile option inspired by iconic actress Bridgette Bardot, the shoes feature a pointed-toe design in the upper and the brand’s signature 4-inch heel. A closed-back construction secures the foot in place, while a padded insole provides sufficient comfort. Adding to the comfort is a leather lining and insole for breathability.

As for her ensemble, Melania paired her shoes with a white mock neck puff sleeve dress that cinched at the waist.

Pumps are typically Melania’s go-to shoe of choice for her public appearances. For the opening night of “Les Misérables” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C, in June, she wore a metallic pair of Christian Louboutin’s So Kate pumps, which is a style she has been spotted wearing on many occasions. The metallic version retails between $745 to $800, and features a metallic finish in gold and silver. Designed in a pointed-toe silhouette and the style’s signature 120-mm stiletto heel.

She was also seen wearing a brown version of the pumps while appearing at the signing of the bipartisan Take It Down Act, which she paired with a double-breasted gray Prada skirt suit for a power suit moment. When the First Lady isn’t wearing heels from Christian Louboutin or Manolo Blahnik, you can typically find her in comfortable flats, typically Roger Vivier’s Belle Vivier or Christian Louboutin’s Ballalla.

In 2023, for example, President Trump and Melania were photographed arriving back at the White House after a trip to France for the G7 Summit. In the pictures, Melania could be seen wearing a white iteration of Louboutin’s Ballalla, which was made with sleek leather, included a pointed-toe silhouette and finished with the brand’s signature red sole. She was seen wearing those same flats for a trip to the gardens with the other G7 wives.

The first lady often works with stylist Herve Pierre Braillard to create the high-fashion ensembles she chooses for her public appearances and political events.
