Meghan Markle took her monochrome dressing and gave the approach a business-oriented spin in pieces by Brochu Walker and more for the 2025 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., alongside Fortune editor in chief and chief content officer Alyson Shontell.
For her onstage conversation with Shontell, the Duchess of Sussex opted for a coordinated set, featuring Brochu Walker’s Esme skirt in a shade of perle. Crafted in a soft Italian vegan leather, the Brochu Walker piece featured a midi length with a pencil skirt silhouette.

The skirt included design elements that lent it a sensual quality. The skirt’s center front seam featured an open slit for added ease of movement and intrigue. The As Ever founder and “With Love, Meghan” host coordinated her skirt with a complementary blouse.
Augmenting her monochrome approach to business attire, Markle wore a flowing button-down ivory blouse with an open collar and hidden buttons. The sleeves of the piece billowed ever-so-slightly, creating movement and a contrast to the pencil skirt silhouette.

Markle completed her look with neutral heels, styling pointed-toe suede beige pumps with double ankle straps for a completely streamlined, modern look. Jewelry pieces were few, though the pieces the Duchess of Sussex chose included metallic shades and warm hues.
Founded in Los Angeles by Lisa Brochu and Lauren Walker in 2008, Brochu Walker has a quiet luxury aesthetic with an emphasis on sustainability. The brand is one Markle has worn in the past, and was among several she featured on her ShopMy page, which she shared in March coinciding with the release of “With Love, Meghan” Season One on Netflix. Other brands included on the ShopMy page were Gap, J. Crew and Madewell, among others.

More pieces from the Duchess of Sussex’s wardrobe were featured during her recent trip to New York City as part of Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival. During her public engagements, Markle wore pieces by Ralph Lauren and suited up in black mulberry silk jacket and coordinated palazzo trousers by Giorgio Armani.
