Meghan Markle repped one of her favorite footwear labels, Aquazzura, when she attended the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood on Saturday.

Markle selected Aquazzura‘s Black Tie sandals to complement a black turtleneck and skirt. The key element of the footwear style is a sculptural bow at the toes set against slender straps. Slim ankle straps complete the look in the back above a 105mm stiletto heel. Serving as a subtle deviation from her black outfit, the shoes were crafted from espresso brown velvet. The Black Tie Sandal 105 retails for $1,105 from the luxury label.

Additional Aquazzura items rounded out Markle’s look; she carried the Bow Tie Clutch in black velvet (she’s also a fan of the brand’s Bow Tie Pump) and wore the dangling crystal-embellished Love Link Earrings from the label. This all complemented a long sleeve turtleneck top and floor-length skirt with a thigh-slit.

This is far from the first time Markle has worn Aquazzura footwear. The label has been a go-to for her through the years, from wearing the Matilde Crisscross Suede Pumps at Elle’s sixth annual Women in Television Dinner in West Hollywood in 2016, to wearing the Bow Tie Pumps to a Commonwealth Day Youth Event at Canada House in London in 2019, to wearing the Dangerous Liaisons pumps at Variety’s Power of Women event in 2023.
Markle’s taste in shoes also encompasses styles from brands like Manolo Blahnik, Stuart Weitzman and Sarah Flint, among others. She recently wore brown suede Manolo Blahnik pumps, for example, when she spoke at the Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival, selecting the shoes to accent items from Ralph Lauren.
