Meghan Markle Dons Doen Blazer & Veronica Beard at Invictus Games 2025

Meghan Markle put a casual spin on suiting on the first day of the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, Canada. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spectated wheelchair basketball and curling matches.

Markle sported a houndstooth double-breasted Dôen blazer with a velvet collar, adding on a pair of flared Veronica Beard skinny jeans. A navy La Ligne sweater, diamond studs and black Stuart Weitzman boots topped off her look. Markle also accessorized with Princess Diana’s gold Cartier Tank watch.

Prince Harry reportedly gifted the heirloom to his wife, and she was first seen wearing it publicly in 2020. The same model currently retails for upwards of $22,000, though given its historical value, Diana’s watch is likely worth much more.

The Duchess wore her dark tresses in a ponytail, while her makeup consisted of light blush and nude lip liner.

At the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games on Saturday, Markle selected an ivory Sentaler trench, pairing it with a black top and nude Aquazzura pumps.

Over a decade ago, Prince Harry created the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event for wounded servicemen and women, after serving in Afghanistan.

As part of their multiyear deal with Netflix, the Duke and Duchess released a five-part docuseries about the games titled “Heart of Invictus” in 2023. It follows a group of competitors from around the globe, all service members who have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses, leading up to the 2020 Invictus Games in The Hague.

The series also spotlights the event’s organizers as they prepare for the games, showing how they support each nation’s team, as well as their friends and families. The couple’s company, Archewell Productions, was behind “Heart of Invictus.” In 2020, Markle and Prince Harry signed a five-year deal with Netflix that was reportedly worth $100 million.
