Meghan Markle made a surprise visit to “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Wednesday in New York City. The Duchess of Sussex joined the eponymous talk show host to chat about her new Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” and how her children with husband Prince Harry inspired the show.
Markle styled her now-signature quiet luxury approach to fashion. The Duchess of Sussex wore a sleeveless cashmere crewneck sweater shell in ivory with a loose fit courtesy of J.Crew.

Markle coordinated the sleeveless sweater with a pair of high-waisted Holland twill wide-leg trousers. She completed the sartorial statement with a pair of nude pumps. As for her accessories, the Duchess of Sussex wore her Cartier yellow gold Tank Française watch, which previously belonged to the late Princess Diana, as well as a yellow gold bangle.
During her conversation with Barrymore, Markle shared how her son and daughter — Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3 — partially inspired her eight-episode Netflix show. “I always make it a point when I’m traveling if I can’t do bedtime stories with my kids because Archie and Lili are just three and five, so I’ll always pack a really thin book and I’ll videotape myself reading it so whoever’s with them or Papa can say, ‘Here’s mama reading your bedtime story,’” the Duchess of Sussex said.

“You find ways to show up for each other and if that’s the one thing that I can convey through the show or through As Ever as a brand, I want people to know you can show up for each other because you know how good it feels when someone shows up for you.”
Netflix’s “With Love, Meghan” debuted on Tuesday and features Markle in pieces that cater to her high-low dressing sensibility. Throughout the series, Markle wears pieces by Loro Piana, Zara, Ralph Lauren and more labels.

Markle’s new series coincides with the rebrand of her forthcoming lifestyle label, As Ever, which debuts this spring. “‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always,’” the Duchess of Sussex teased in a video message she shared to Instagram on Feb. 18.
“If you’ve followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you’ll know this couldn’t be truer for me. This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living and finding joy in the everyday.”
