Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue this afternoon with the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Denver Broncos at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Broncos pulled off an epic comeback against the Giants last week, avalanching 33 points in the fourth quarter to pull off a 33-32 victory. Wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. was a big contributor in the winning effort and we’ll see if he can carry that momentum over into todays matchup.
Below, we’ll go over Mims’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 8.
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos WR Marvin Mims Jr.
Mims grabbed six of seven targets for 85 yards in last Sunday’s win over the Giants, his most productive performance of the year. The All-Pro returner had been mostly quiet in the Broncos’ offense prior to last week with just one game where he cracked 60 yards, so it was a relief for fantasy managers to finally see him have a noteworthy day.
Of course, the Broncos had to go pass-heavy to erase their 19-0 deficit late and Bo Nix ended up finishing the game with 50 pass attempts. We’ll see if they can still get Mims more involved in the offense right out the gate.
Start or sit in Week 8 PPR leagues?
Start. The Cowboys still have a Swiss cheese defense and are on the cusp of being the first unit in the league to give up 2,000 passing yards for the year. They’re also giving up an average of 67.8 receiving yards per game to WR3’s this season, so the green light is on to sneak Mims into your starting lineups this week.
