In a marriage of two powerhouse brands, Manolo Blahnik and Balenciaga are teaming up.
Celebrating their Spanish roots and their mutual dedication to craft, the labels revealed three heel styles featured in Balenciaga’s pre-fall 2026 collection.

The collaboration was created as a creative dialogue between Manolo Blahnik, Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli and the enduring spirit of the house’s founding designer Cristóbal Balenciaga. Inspiration came from designs in the Manolo Blahnik archive, selected by Piccioli.
“Don Cristóbal Balenciaga is, to me, the ultimate designer. I have adored his work for as long as I can remember,” Blahnik said. “As a Mediterranean boy myself, I have always felt a deep connection to his Spanish culture and sensibility. To be partnering with Balenciaga, and with Pierpaolo, fulfills a lifelong dream. Pierpaolo’s direction for Balenciaga resonates profoundly with my own ideas of how the modern woman should dress in 2026, a vision of timeless elegance rooted in craftsmanship and enduring beauty.”

The assortment include a low-heeled mule and a slingback set atop a 105mm or 50mm heel.
The shoes reveal the body with a décolleté cut, connecting to the primacy of the human form which is part of Piccioli’s creative approach at the house. All three styles are crafted in silk satin, which has always been a key material for Blahnik, and offered in a variety of colors, with a lining in Balenciaga gray.
Leaning further into elegance, the styles are defined by crystal embroidery across a low-cut vamp, recalling Blahnik’s love of embellishment and making shoes resembling jewels. The embellishments also reference archival Blahnik designs and the 1960s bijoux made by Cristóbal Balenciaga.
