Making a hole in one in golf is pretty difficult

It is hard for me to put an exact point on when I started playing golf, but I have certainly been playing for over half of my life. Beyond that, even.

In my time with the beautiful game I have been fortunate to do and see some pretty amazing things. One of golf’s greatest treasures that continues to evade me is something that every player seeks… a hole in one.

Carding an ace puts you into a very special club. It is a representation of supreme skill obviously, but it also involves some serious luck. In some cases it involves an inordinate amount of luck.

My friends at Tito’s Vodka are trying to see which human beings, those who are 21 years of age and older to be clear, are capable of finding this right measure of skill and luck. They have a contest going to challenge people to make a hole-in-one and recently yours truly gave it his best effort.

Tito’s was kind enough to hook me up with some polos and swag while I gave it the old college try. Of the four par 3s that I visited on this day I landed on the green on only two of them, so needless to say there was no ace to be found up any of these polo’s sleeves (they were/are extremely comfortable, though).

You may have more luck and/or skill than me, something I wouldn’t be surprise at if we are being honest. If this is the case and you think you can card your own hole-in-one then you should give it your best shot. All of the information you need is in this video below and can be read in more specific detail here.

This contest ends just before midnight ET on July 29th so you have a couple of weeks to hit the range and get your game to a place where you feel like you can actually pull it off.

Imagine if you do. I will be insanely jealous. And you will be quite the winner.

Good luck!
