Macy’s Chief Merchandising Officer Nata Dvir to Gain New Industry Honor

The Fragrance Foundation has chosen its 2024 Circle of Champions honoree.

Nata Dvir, the chief merchandising officer of Macy’s, will join the ranks of past honorees — including Sephora’s Artemis Patrick and L’Oréal’s Carol Hamilton — Oct. 22 at an event in New York.

Dvir is the youngest executive to hold the role at Macy’s, and only the second woman to do so. She’s worked in retail and merchandising for almost two decades, and previously served as general business manager for beauty, as well as center core merchandise, which includes jewelry, accessories, shoes, handbags and intimates.

“I am deeply honored to receive the Circle of Champions award from the Fragrance Foundation. This recognition is a testament to the incredible work and dedication of the entire Macy’s team and our partners in the fragrance industry,” Dvir said in a statement.

“Together, we have elevated this important category, building on the legacy of Macy’s as the ‘Fragrance Destination’ for our customers, offering them a unique and memorable shopping experience.”

Added Linda Levy, the president of the Fragrance Foundation (and herself a past honoree), “The Circle of Champions is one of the highest in the fragrance industry as it recognizes a leader defined by strategic vision, action and results. Nata is a collaborative partner with the fragrance community, bringing innovation and delivering outstanding business impact. Nata’s leadership and passion drives Macy’s as a major retail force for fragrance.”

Fragrance is currently growing across price points in the prestige beauty market in the U.S. As reported, lower-priced formats such as body mists are seeing triple-digit growth, while luxury scents are still notching gains.
