LVMH Watch Week Is Heading to Los Angeles in January 2025

LVMH Watch Week is heading to Los Angeles for its sixth edition, with the gathering scheduled for Jan. 21 to 24.

The location and other details could not immediately be learned.

In a brief statement on Wednesday, the French luxury group said nine of its watchmaking maisons would present their latest creations to press, retailers and clients at the fair.

Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co. and L’Epée 1839 will be new to the event, joining regulars Bulgari, Hublot, Tag Heuer, Zenith, Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta in Los Angeles.

The traveling showcase first launched in Dubai in 2020 and has also been held in Singapore and, most recently, Miami.

Frédéric Arnault, chief executive officer of LVMH Watches, said the trio of new exhibitors would drive “further momentum for what has grown into a can’t-miss rendezvous for watch aficionados.

“We’re thrilled at the prospect of welcoming our clients and all our partners at the very start of the year for a display of new timepieces, great surprises and exceptional creations that will mark 2025,” he added.

In reporting third-quarter results, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton said organic sales of watches and jewelry were down 4 percent, but did not worsen.

The United States has remained a rare bright spot for makers of high-end watches.

In reporting its data for September, the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry said exports grew a modest 2.4 percent but consolidated its position as the leading market for Swiss timepieces.

By contrast, September exports to Mainland China and Hong Kong, which have now gone down to fifth and fourth place respectively in market ranking by size, fell 49.7 percent and 34.6 percent year-on-year.
