Loewe Taps Canadian Actor Théodore Pellerin as Brand Ambassador

ALL IN THE FAMILY: Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, who are to stage their first coed Loewe show on March 6 during Paris Fashion Week, have tapped their first male brand ambassador: Théodore Pellerin. He is slated to attend.

The 28-year-old Canadian actor, whose breakout came in the 2018 film “Family First,” is currently filming “Cry to Heaven” in Rome, Tom Ford’s adaptation of the Anne Rice novel about a nobleman and a castrato.

Pellerin recently wrapped Nicole Garcia’s “Milo” opposite Marion Cotillard, and received awards for roles in Alex Russell’s “Lurker” and Pauline Loquès’ debut feature “Nino.” He has collaborated with such directors as Ari Aster, Eliza Hittman, Xavier Dolan and Sophie Dupuis, and also acts for television and stage.

In 2024, he starred in “Becoming Karl Lagerfeld” as the late designer’s former partner Jacques de Bascher; he also appeared in the Apple TV+ miniseries “Franklin” and led the 2023 Toronto Film Festival film “Solo” as a young drag queen living in Montreal.

Loewe lauded his willingness to experiment, and to move between independent cinema and larger productions.

“Acting, like craft, truly vibrates when all the hard work behind it dissolves — when the effort disappears and a certain playfulness comes through,” McCollough and Hernandez said in a statement shared first with WWD. “These are the qualities we recognize in Théodore’s way of bringing characters to life.”

Pellerin said becoming a Loewe ambassador is “more about alignment than representation.”

“I’ve always been drawn to working with people I genuinely admire and with whom there’s a shared sensibility. Loewe feels like a place where intelligence and curiosity come first,” he added. “There’s a real attention to detail, to the hand, to the time things take. That feels very close to acting.”
