Lily Collins Continues Her Texture Run in Peep-toe Mules in Paris

Textured black peep-toe pumps kept Lily Collins’ pattern-and-texture run going in Paris on Monday at the premiere of “Emily in Paris” Season Five.

Collins arrived at the Grand Rex in black patent pumps that carried most of the surface detail in her look. The shoes featured an open toe, a thin stiletto heel and a slight platform sole. Across the front, overlapping patent pieces formed what looked like a crisscross, quilted effect on the mule silhouette

She paired the glossy pumps with look 74 from Armani Privé’s fall 2025 haute couture collection. The multi-textured gown featured a deep V neckline with narrow straps and a fitted sequined bodice. A velvet panel folded across the waist and continued into a long skirt with a central opening, offering a windowed view of the shoes.

Cartier’s Onja necklace and matching earrings added concentrated detail at the neckline, built from clear stones with a central blue drop. Collins kept the rest of the styling streamlined: slicked-back hair, defined brows and a muted lip. Stylist Andrew Mukamal put the Paris look together.

The premiere continued a shoe streak that has leaned heavily on texture. In New York earlier this month, Collins paired woven-strap stiletto sandals with a vintage Roberto Cavalli giraffe print coat, using tight braid-like straps at the toe and midfoot under a bold pattern. Days later in Paris, she turned to McQueen’s Country Check tailoring, wearing a three-piece plaid suit over glossy pointed-toe pumps.

Season Five of “Emily in Paris” arrives on Netflix later this week, continuing the series’ shift away from pure fantasy styling and into more location-driven fashion moments. Filmed across Paris, Rome and Venice, the new season follows Emily as she navigates a changing professional landscape and a more complicated personal life, with Collins previously noting that the wardrobe this year is one of the show’s most expansive yet.
