Leighton Meester wore a shimmering Miu Miu dress at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night in Beverly Hills, Calif. The actress walked the red carpet with her husband, Adam Brody, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for the Netflix series “Nobody Wants This,” alongside his costar Kristen Bell, who’s up for Best Female Actor in the same category.
Meester’s strapless Miu Miu look was crafted with all-over shimmering sequin embellishments sewn into the blush pink base fabric. A pop of bold yellow and slightly ruched fabric featured at the bustline, adding striking contrast to the overall look. Meester’s husband and Golden Globe nominee Adam Brody opted for classic suited styling, with a houndstooth-patterned black and white jacket, black trousers and a white collared shirt with a black bowtie.

For glam, her team built everything around that sparkly Miu Miu moment.
“The glam process always begins with styling. Leighton and her stylist establish the look first, and then we all come together to discuss hair and makeup options — what will best complement what she’s wearing. It’s a very organic, back-and-forth collaboration where we share references and explore different possibilities together,” makeup artist Bethany McCarty told WWD.
“For the Golden Globes this year, she’ll be wearing a gorgeous sparkly Miu Miu gown with a pop of color so we’ve decided to keep the hair and makeup classic, simple, clean, and fresh, letting the dress be the statement. It’s such a fun and inspiring process to collaborate with such creative peers. It truly feels like playing dress-up with your best friends.”

The Globes have already given Meester and Brody one coordinated couple style moment. Last year, when Brody was nominated for the same category and role, Meester wore a lemon-lime cowl neck gown with Anita Ko diamonds while he stayed in the same saturated family, opting for a dark green, double-breasted Prada tuxedo. More recently, at the “I Love LA” premiere last October, she walked the red carpet in a strapless black sequin gown with a blond bob and muddy blond highlights, paired with the same kind of classic, simple, clean glam she leaned into for the Globes.
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards are underway tonight at The Beverly Hilton, honoring the best in 2025 film, television and podcasts. “One Battle After Another” leads the film categories with nine nominations, with “Sentimental Value” and “Sinners” close behind, while “The White Lotus” tops TV nods. Hosted again by Nikki Glaser, the ceremony airs live beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
