Le Vian Jewelry Celebrated at the Houston Museum of Natural Science

JEWELS FOR THE AGES: In a private and very exclusive evening at the Houston Museum of Natural Science last Thursday, the long history and luxury of Le Vian jewelry was showcased.

The event, titled “Le Vian…From Ancient Royalty to Today’s Red Carpet,” marked the 25-year partnership between Jared Jewelers and Le Vian. Prominent Houstonians Harriet and Truett Latimer, Sheila and Ben Turner, and Bradley H. Marks hosted the celebration.

Attendees were granted a glimpse of Le Vian through its five centuries of design, as curated for the museum’s Cullen Gem Hall. The evening’s crescendo came at the picturesque Morian Overlook, where the Le Vian family unveiled their 2024 High Jewelry Collection of luminous natural pink and sunny yellow diamonds as well as rare and precious sapphires, rubies, emeralds, alexandrite, Paraiba tourmalines, Boulder opals, and Aquadite, the newest gem on Earth.

“This extraordinary night epitomized the shared vision of Jared and Le Vian to craft jewelry that transcends generations,” said Claudia Cividino, president of Jared Jewelers. “Our deep gratitude goes to the Houston Museum of Natural Science and our esteemed event chairs and guests for helping make this celebration of authenticity, innovation, and heritage unforgettable.”

The evening included films of Le Vian’s storied past, from the family’s legacy as guardians of Persia’s royal jewels in 1746, to the introduction of Chocolate Diamonds in 2000; a fireside conversation between Cividino and Eddie LeVian, chief executive officer of Le Vian, and the unveiling of Le Vian’s newest collections, followed by a runway presentation.

“We honor our past with reverence while stepping boldly into the future,” Le Vian said. “Each jewel embodies both history and innovation, with some pieces taking years to perfect.”

Le Vian, a family-owned jeweler tracing its heritage to the 15th century, is known for its Chocolate Diamonds, and rich palette of gemstones. Jared is a division of Signet Jewelers.
