Laura Harrier just joined a long list of celebrities who have stepped out in slingback heels during this year’s Venice Film Festival. On Saturday, the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” actress turned up at an event for Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales program — which commissions female filmmakers to create short films — in a glossy black silhouette.
Harrier made a stylish entrance in barely-there $1,290 patent leather sandals from Miu Miu, which boast a buckle-adorned strap across the foot, along with another strap in the back around the ankle. The sandals have a rounded and slightly pointy toe, as well as a skinny 105 mm heel. Meanwhile, the insole is enlivened with a screen-printed logo.

The actress, who typically teams up with celebrity stylist Danielle Goldberg, was outfitted in the luxury label’s black and white gingham mini dress. The form-fitting number was crafted from viscose and features skinny straps and a logo patch underneath the scoop neckline. Elsewhere in her look, Harrier carried the brand’s boxy black leather Arcadie bag.
Makeup artist Tobi Henney was responsible for Harrier’s glowy skin and bold cat-eye, while hairstylist Mashal Afzalzada styled the actress’ shiny brunette hair in loose curls. Held at the Fondazione Prada, Miu Miu’s fête last night was packed with celebrities, including Amanda Seyfried, Emma Corrin, Emily Blunt and Sarah Catherine Hook.

With the hardware detail, Harrier’s slingback heels at the Miu Miu party were a bit trendier than other pairs spotted at the festival. Kim Kardashian, for instance, touched down in Venice wearing Saint Laurent’s Vendome patent leather pointy heels. Heidi Klum, too, jumped on the slingback train, hitting the “La Grazia” red carpet in Aquazzura’s So Nude Sandals, which feature a pointy toe and skinny strap across the foot.
