The Latin Recording Academy will soon announce the nominees for the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards. Likely to compete in the field is 40-time nominee and 12-time winner Bad Bunny, who kicked off 2025 with the blockbuster album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. The Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and rapper recently finished a massive residency in San Juan (although he does have one more special show lined up for September 20), and he’ll begin his world tour behind his new album in November.
Songwriter and producer Edgar Barrera had the most nominations at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards, with nine, and he converted those into three victories. Karol G, who was just announced as a headliner at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, had eight nominations, and she ended up winning Best Urban Music Album, for Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season). She had previously won the same award at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The 2025 Latin Grammy Awards take place on Thursday, November 13. The ceremony will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The telecast of the Latin Grammys is produced by TelevisaUnivision, and it will air on the media company’s U.S. platforms.
