Three baffling moments in the fourth quarter — running back Emari Demercado fumbling just short of the goalline to take a long TD run off the board, a shotgun snap bouncing off Kyler Murray’s face for a fumble, and an interception being fumbled and turning into a Tennessee Titans’ touchdown — helped gift Tennessee a comeback win.
Now the Cardinals have to worry about the health of their quarterback.
Kyler Murray, who left Sunday’s win with a foot injury before returning to action, is not expected to practice on Wednesday as he recovers from the injury. Arizona takes on the surprising Indianapolis Colts on Sunday on the road, as they look to bounce back from Sunday’s debacle and even their record at 3-3.
Jacoby Brissett, who threw an incompletion on his only passing attempt when he came on for a few plays Sunday as Murray was evaluated, is Arizona’s backup quarterback.
