Kimani Vidal start or sit: Week 14 fantasy football advice

Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season will wrap up on Monday night with a battle of playoff contenders in both leagues as the Philadelphia Eagles will visit the Los Angeles Chargers at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN.

The Chargers have won four of their last five games and they were last seen whooping the Raiders in a 31-14 home victory last Sunday. Running back Kimani Vidal tore Vegas up on the ground in the win and we’ll see what his role will be with a certain a certain first-round rookie returning to the lineup tonight.

Below, we’ll go over Vidal’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 14.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers RB Kimani Vidal

Vidal had one of his better outings of the season, taking 25 carries for 126 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground and padded his stat line with one catch for 11 receiving yards through the air. It marked the third 100+ rushing day for the second-year product out of Troy and those numbers were good enough to allow him to finish as a top-five fantasy running back in all scoring formats for the week.

The big news for the Chargers in this game is the return of running back Omarion Hampton, who has been out since Week 5 with an ankle injury. Vidal has done a great job holding down the fort in his absence and it remains to be seen if he sees a significant drop in snaps with the first-round rookie back in action.

Start. Even with Hampton back in the lineup, one would have to think the Chargers will keep riding the hot hand with Vidal. I’d imagine they’d try to ease the rookie back in, still opening the door for Vidal to get plenty of reps. I think he can produce yet another fantasy-worthy effort under these circumstances.
