Kate Middleton’s Wimbledon Look 2025 and the Story Behind Its Details

Kate Middleton returned to Wimbledon’s Royal Box on Saturday, ahead of the women’s final between Poland’s Iga Świątek and American Amanda Anisimova. Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the Princess of Wales upholds the tradition of presenting the championship trophies.

Middleton attended the event in a monochromatic ivory look, featuring a structured military-style blazer with classic safari detailing, including patch pockets, button closures, and a cinched waist belt that creates an hourglass silhouette. The royal paired the jacket with a flowing pleated midi skirt, offering a balance between structured and feminine, and nude pointed-toe pumps.

The Princess of Wales accessorized with her signature Cartier Bleu watch, which is valued at $6,200. Prince William gifted his wife the watch on their 2014 wedding anniversary. Middleton also carried a leather bag by Anya Hindmarch and sported the Halcyon Days’ Maya Torque gold bracelet on her right arm.

Middleton sported a purple bow on her jacket. The accessory was a subtle nod to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, whose colors have been green and purple since 1909.

Since 2016, Middleton has served as the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the organization behind Wimbledon, succeeding the Duke of Kent in the role. A key part of her role is presenting the trophies to the champions and runners-up of the singles finals, a role she fulfills with warmth and encouragement.

In a historic Wimbledon 2025 women’s final, Poland’s Iga Świątek and American Amanda Anisimova faced off on Centre Court, each seeking their first title on the famed grass of the All England Club. Świątek, already a five-time Grand Slam champion renowned for her clay-court dominance, entered as the favorite, while Anisimova, fresh from a stunning upset of world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinals, was contesting her maiden major final. Anisimova is the first American to reach the final since Serena Williams in 2019.
